Comhaltas in Britain is part of the worldwide Comhaltas movement. For over 60 years we have been bringing together the Irish community in their shared love of traditional music, song, dance, language and storytelling.

Many of today’s top trad/folk artists started their musical journey with a Comhaltas instrument or at a Comhaltas session and we continue to pass on our traditions to the next generation through our network of branches across Britain.

We also support the most vulnerable, isolated and lonely in our community through programs of inclusion, helping people live better with dementia and addressing mental health issues.
